decentralized GPU marketplace
A protocol market matching GPU supply from many independent providers to AI demand, settled on a token rail; Akash, io.net, Bittensor compute, and Hyperbolic are canonical.

For the sovereignty argument these markets are the most direct counterweight to hyperscaler concentration. Whether they reach the scale where they constrain hyperscaler pricing or remain niche alternatives is one of the questions that will define the compute layer through 2026.
